Can hyperplastic nodules become cancerous?

Your health, my mission. Your recovery, my joy.
Hyperplastic nodules are caused by hyperplasia of epithelial and fibrous tissues. Under normal circumstances, they are benign nodules. only a few may become cancerous. For example, breast hyperplasia nodules or thyroid hyperplasia nodules may become cancerous, but the probability is relatively small. If there are hyperplastic nodules detected at this stage, treatment methods need to be selected according to the size of the nodules. If the nodules are relatively small, there are no obvious clinical symptoms, mainly regular follow-up. If the nodules become larger and harder, and cause local compression, even some nodules will change their surface, such as showing orange peel changes in the skin, requiring timely surgical removal.
