Can gout eat mushroom mushrooms?

Gout is caused by excessive purine in the body, increased uric acid synthesis, and deposition of uric acid crystals in the joints. Mushrooms are high purine foods. Eating too many mushrooms will cause acute attacks of gout. Therefore, gout patients generally cannot eat mushrooms.
