Keratosis follicularis is an autosomal dominant keratinizing skin disease. It normally occurs in adolescents and occurs in areas of the face, forehead, scalp and chest where sebaceous glands are active. Keratosis follicularis presents as small, firm, pigmented papules that develop into oily, grayish brown, black scabs.
