Acne vulgaris in this part belongs to the spleen and stomach damp-heat type from the perspective of TCM differentiation. Because from the theory of TCM, the mouth belongs to the spleen and stomach, so it may generally be the inflammation and redness of the spleen and stomach damp-heat. Of course, from the point of view of Western medicine, most of the acne that occurs here is an inflammatory reaction caused by local hair follicles and sebaceous glands. This inflammation may be related to some bad habits of the patient.
