Is endometrial stromal sarcoma cancer?

Endometrial stromal sarcoma is not cancer.

Cancer is a malignant tumor derived from epithelial cells, endometrial stromal sarcoma is a malignant tumor derived from mesenchymal tissue. The origin of the two is different, so endometrial stromal sarcoma is not cancer. Cancer generally metastasizes through blood vessels, while endometrial stromal sarcoma generally metastasizes through lymph nodes. There are differences in the metastatic pathways between the two. Endometrial stromal sarcoma is a type of uterine sarcoma, divided into low-grade, high-grade, undifferentiated endometrial stromal sarcoma, low-grade prognosis is better, the latter two poor prognosis.
