How do we know the roots are clean?

Empathy in care, excellence in medicine.
The tooth root is extracted by X-ray examination, wound examination, and observation of postoperative symptoms.
1. Wound examination The
doctor will carefully examine the wound after extraction, and directly observe whether there is obvious root residue in the wound by the naked eye. Experienced doctors can initially judge the root cleaning condition by intuitive inspection.
2. X-ray examination
is a very important confirmation method. X-ray can clearly show the situation in the alveolar socket and accurately determine whether there is root residue. Even some tiny, invisible root fragments can be clearly displayed under X-ray.
3. Observation of postoperative symptoms If abnormal
symptoms such as pain and swelling persist after extraction, and do not ease for a long time, it may indicate that there is a root residue problem, but this is not an absolute criterion, because other factors may also cause similar symptoms.
