How to diagnose secondary liver cancer

Your health is my mission, your recovery is my joy.
Secondary liver cancer can be diagnosed by tumor marker examination, imaging examination and pathological examination.
1. Tumor marker examination
alpha-fetoprotein is a tumor marker of liver cancer. When the content of alpha-fetoprotein in the patient's blood is significantly increased, and there is cancer in situ in other parts of the body, it can be highly suspected of secondary liver cancer.
2. Imaging examination
Secondary liver cancer refers to malignant tumors in other parts of the body metastasizing to the liver through blood, lymph and other routes. Therefore, when the patient does imaging examination and finds abnormal masses in the liver, it can be preliminarily diagnosed as secondary liver cancer.
3. Pathological examination When
abnormal nodules or masses appear in the liver, specimens should be taken under endoscopy for pathological examination. If the results are malignant, combined with the above two items can be diagnosed as secondary liver cancer.
