Rubella is caused by rubella virus infection and is an acute respiratory infectious disease. Urticaria is a localized edema reaction related to allergies, infections and environmental factors. Rubella can cause low fever, rash, swollen lymph nodes behind the ears and occipital regions, while urticaria mainly causes skin itching and wheal symptoms.
