B-mode Ultrasonography of Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a sign of ectopic growth of endometrial cells into the pelvis. B-ultrasound may reveal abnormal cystic masses in the ovary. After endometriosis, anti-endometrial antibodies and laparoscopy are usually required to confirm the diagnosis.
