What is Cystitis Glandularis?

Guiding you to a healthier tomorrow.
Glandular cystitis is usually caused by lower urinary tract infection, lower urinary tract dysfunction and tumors.
1. Lower urinary tract infection
If the patient's bladder is infected by bacteria for a long time, it can cause inflammatory reaction, leading to metaplasia of bladder transitional epithelium and transformation into glandular epithelium, thus forming glandular cystitis.
2. Lower urinary tract dysfunction
If the patient has prostatic hyperplasia, neurogenic bladder and other diseases, it is easy to cause lower urinary tract obstruction, leading to dysfunction, affecting urine discharge, causing bacterial growth and reproduction, which may cause glandular cystitis.
3. Tumor
If the patient's bladder tumor appears, it is not treated in time, stimulating local mucosa for a long time, causing damage, conducive to bacterial infection, resulting in glandular cystitis.
