How to judge whether a cold is cold or wind-heat

Cold is cold or wind-heat can be judged by the cause, clinical symptoms and other aspects.

First, the cause of cold occurs if the

body catches cold in cold environment, too little clothing, generally belongs to cold cold, most cases are caused by cold invasion of the body. If it is caused by long time in high temperature environment and too thick clothing, it is generally wind-heat cold.

Second, clinical symptoms

1. The color of tongue coating

is white and thick, usually wind-heat cold. If the tongue coating is yellow, it is generally wind-heat cold.

2. Respiratory secretions such as

clear water-like nasal discharge and sputum belong to cold. If yellow sticky nasal discharge or sputum occurs, it is caused by wind-heat cold.
