What causes disc herniation?

Guiding you to a healthier tomorrow.
Intervertebral disc herniation is usually referred to as disc herniation. Disc herniation may be related to factors such as degeneration, spinal trauma and improper posture.
1. Degenerative
degeneration is the basic cause of disc herniation. With age, the disc gradually loses water, elasticity decreases, collagen content decreases, easily leading to rupture of the annulus fibrosus and nucleus pulposus herniation.
2. Spinal trauma
When the spine is severely impacted, twisted or compressed, the disc may be damaged, resulting in disc herniation.
3. Improper posture
Maintaining incorrect position for a long time, such as looking down at the phone or computer for a long time, will cause additional pressure on the cervical spine or lumbar spine, increasing the risk of disc herniation.
