How to check adrenal gland tumor

Adrenal tumors are mainly diagnosed by

CT and MRI. On CT, the adrenal gland is enlarged, the diameter becomes longer, and on enhanced CT, the adrenal gland is gradually enhanced from inside to outside. On MRI, the signal intensity is relatively uniform.

Pathological biopsy is the gold standard for the diagnosis of adrenal tumors. Biopsy is usually taken during surgery. It can determine the benign and malignant tumor, type, stage, etc., so as to facilitate treatment and evaluation of patient prognosis.
