What is the difference between multiple renal cysts and polycystic kidney disease?

Healing with compassion, caring with dedication.
Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is a
common disease of kidney disease, and polycystic kidney disease is a congenital genetic disease. The cause of multiple renal cysts
is not clear, renal cysts originating from renal tubules are mostly thought to be related to nephron obstruction, and renal cysts from non-renal tubules are mostly thought to be epithelial cell proliferation. Polycystic kidney disease is mainly caused by gene mutation, and long-term dialysis treatment
. Both diseases can compress renal parenchyma or pull renal capsule. Hematuria in renal area, secondary infection or urinary tract obstruction can occur. If symptoms and complications occur, both diseases are mainly treated by surgery.
If multiple renal cysts or polycystic kidney disease occurs, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital for treatment under the guidance of a doctor.
