7 Taboos of Yam

There are 7 kinds of taboos in yam, but if there are wet and full, dyspepsia, yam allergy, etc., you can't eat yam.
1. Wet and full
yam tastes sweet and flat, enters the spleen, kidney and lung meridians, and can nourish yin and help dampness. Therefore, it is not recommended for people with wet and full to eat yam, which may lead to increased moisture in the body.
2. Dyspepsia
yam contains starch. Starch intake by people with indigestion will lead to increased gastrointestinal burden, easy gas production, and more obvious abdominal distension.
3. Yam allergy
yam contains protein. If you are allergic to protein in yam, eating yam will cause allergic reactions, causing skin itching, redness and other symptoms.
