Hydronephrosis can be divided into primary hydronephrosis and secondary hydronephrosis. Primary hydronephrosis is mostly caused by mechanical obstruction. The main causes are as follows:
1. Ectopic blood vessels: such as compression of vagus nerve vessels from the lower pole of the kidney.
2. Fiber strips.
3. Ureter and pelvis are highly inserted. Secondary hydronephrosis is mostly caused by other diseases of the urinary system. Primary diseases can be detected by routine examination, and some diseases need to be diagnosed by special examination (such as CT, MRI, etc.). These diseases mainly include obstructive lesions of the upper urinary tract, tumors, polyps, abnormalities, diverticula, etc. External pressure of masses in the upper urinary tract, abdomen, pelvis or retroperitoneum.
