Thyroid papillary carcinoma lymph node metastasis is serious

Dedicated to your well-being.
Papillary thyroid cancer is not serious with lymph node metastasis only. Papillary thyroid cancer is often accompanied by lymph node metastasis, but even if lymph node metastasis exists, it can still be completely cured by surgical resection. The difference is that if accompanied by lymph node metastasis in the neck, lymph node dissection is required. Some patients need thyroid hormone supplementation for life, and iodine 131 therapy is selected. If there is no distant metastasis, most patients with papillary thyroid cancer and cervical lymph node metastasis can survive for a long time after treatment, so they are called happy cancer. If the patient has already shown lung or bone metastasis at the time of diagnosis, the patient's papillary thyroid cancer is advanced and cannot be treated by surgery. Iodine 131 treatment is recommended.
