Cancer foot swelling is what symptom

Cancer patients show foot edema. It is considered that the tumor has entered the advanced stage, and the tumor gradually enlarges, causing compression on some blood vessels or nerves, resulting in lower limb reflux disorder, thus showing foot edema. In addition, cancer cells in advanced cancer patients will spread to multiple organs throughout the body, possibly leading to multiple organ failure. If cancer cells metastasize to the kidneys, they will affect kidney function, causing patients to show systemic edema or lower limb swelling. Because cancer is a wasting disease, patients also show cachexia in the middle and late stages, and the protein in the blood will be reduced, thus causing patients to show hypoproteinemia, which will also lead to patients showing systemic edema phenomenon.
