A hard lump on the abdomen does not necessarily mean early cancer. It may be a lipoma or fibroma. Therefore, patients are usually asked to do superficial abdominal B-ultrasound or abdominal CT to determine the extent, size, and impact on surrounding tissues of the lump. If malignant tumors are considered, fine needle puncture must be performed to determine whether there is a possibility of malignancy. If benign is considered on color Doppler ultrasound or CT, it is generally observed dynamically until it shows growth or rapid growth in a short period of time, then surgical treatment is considered.
