Nasopharyngeal cancer is the most common form of nasopharyngeal cancer. It occurs in the posterior or lateral wall of the nasopharynx. Usually, patients with nasopharyngeal cancer may show symptoms such as nasal congestion and bloody nose. As the disease progresses, the patient's symptoms become more severe. In advanced stages, patients may also show symptoms such as vomiting blood and loss of appetite, or dyspepsia and difficulty breathing, or difficulty eating. Malignant tumors of nasopharyngeal carcinoma may be related to genetic factors and environmental factors of the patient, and sometimes may be caused by eb virus infection.
