Does smooth muscle tumor grow after resection?

is usually benign and refers to tumors originating from smooth muscle cells. If the patient is a single leiomyoma, if it can be completely removed during surgery, it will generally not grow again after surgery. However, if it is multiple leiomyomas, it may grow again after surgery because it is difficult to remove all the lesions during surgery. This part of patients should be closely followed up after surgery to monitor for signs of tumor recurrence.
