Squamous cell carcinoma in cancer is serious

Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is a type of malignant tumor. It can usually grow in areas covered with squamous epithelium, such as the cervix or skin and vaginoesophagus. The severity of SCC in cancer depends on the disease grade. SCC can be classified as grade 1, 2, 3, and 4 squamous cell carcinoma. Therefore, whether squamous cell carcinoma is serious in cancer depends mainly on the grade of the disease. Generally, the higher the grade, the higher the degree of malignancy.
