Carcinoembryonic antigen levels have been elevated for three consecutive years.

Restoring health, restoring hope.
Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) is a commonly used tumor marker in clinical practice. Many organ problems may cause elevated CEA, most common is gastrointestinal tract, including breast, lung, and gynecological tumors may cause elevated CEA, and the site where adenocarcinoma can occur may cause high levels of this indicator. The continuous high level of the indicator depends on its high degree, and whether there is a progressive increase trend in the past three years. If it is simply higher and more stable, there may be chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, such as chronic gastritis, chronic enteritis or cholecystitis, which will cause mild high indicators. Of course, this is not a big problem. If it is much higher, or there is a gradual increase trend in the past three years, it is recommended to do a detailed examination of the lungs and gastrointestinal tract to understand whether there is inflammation or the presence of tumors, and then give corresponding intervention and treatment.
