Uterine Cancer Screening

Empowering lives through health.
Cervical cancer screening is mainly performed by cervical cytology, HPV testing, colposcopy, cervical biopsy, etc.
1. Cervical cytology, such
as Pap smear or liquid-based cytology, is an important method for early detection of precancerous lesions and cervical cancer.
2. HPV detection,
especially high-risk HPV persistent infection, is closely related to the occurrence of cervical cancer. This test can be performed alone or in combination with cervical cytology, which can improve the accuracy and reliability of screening.
3. Colposcopy
may be required when cervical cytology or HPV test results are abnormal. Colposcopy can directly observe the morphology of the cervical surface and biopsy at suspicious sites to confirm the diagnosis.
4. Cervical biopsy is performed
under the guidance of colposcopy or directly at the site of cervical lesions for pathological examination to determine the nature and type of lesions.
