Colorectal bleeding characteristics

colon cancer is divided into colon cancer and rectal cancer. The bleeding characteristics are also different. colon cancer is far away from the anus. It normally has black hard tarry stool mixed with blood and very little blood. It is normally accompanied by changes in bowel habits, such as frequent bowel movements and incomplete bowel movements. If the tumor grows inward, it may cause changes in the shape of bowel movements. Rectal cancer is closer to the anus. There may be blood behind the stool, but the color is darker than hemorrhoids bleeding. There may also be mucus and blood stool or purulent blood stool.
