Any changes in the tumor's blood work?

The blood routine of tumor patients will be abnormal in most cases, but there are also some tumor patients with normal blood routine. For solid tumors such as lung cancer and breast cancer, the blood routine is generally normal at the early stage of tumor, just like normal people, without change. When the tumor progresses to the late stage, especially when complicated with infection, it will show changes such as increased white blood cell count. When malignant tumor cells metastasize to bone marrow, normal hematopoietic function is inhibited, and blood routine will show changes in red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. However, in hematological malignancies, such as acute leukemia, blood routine can show two high and one low changes at the initial stage of onset, that is, white blood cell count increases, while red blood cell and platelet counts decrease. Most patients come to see a doctor because of these abnormal changes in blood routine.
