Laryngeal, nasopharyngeal, nasal and sinus malignancies, and lung cancer may all present as throat bleeding, but throat bleeding is not necessarily caused by cancer. Other pathologies may also cause throat bleeding. For example, epistaxis caused by dry nasal mucosa, vascular malformations, etc.; pulmonary bleeding caused by lower respiratory tract bronchitis; and gingival bleeding caused by gum disease. Therefore, occasional throat bleeding does not necessarily require excessive tension, but frequent repeated throat bleeding must be sought medical attention to rule out the possibility of disease.
