What's a distal left radius fracture?

Empathy in every care, excellence in every treatment.
Left distal radius fracture is a relatively common upper limb fracture. It
is usually caused by external force such as palm support when falling. This instantaneous impact force is easy to cause distal radius fracture. Patients will experience wrist pain, swelling, deformity and limited mobility. X-ray, CT and other imaging examinations are mainly used to confirm diagnosis and determine fracture type.
If improper treatment or patients do not cooperate with rehabilitation, it may lead to poor fracture healing. Malunion may affect the appearance and function of wrist. Traumatic arthritis may occur after fracture healing, resulting in wrist pain and limited mobility. Therefore, patients with distal radius fracture need to seek medical treatment in time, and pay attention to rehabilitation training and follow-up to reduce complications and promote rehabilitation and functional recovery of patients.
