What are the symptoms of seborrheic alopecia?

Your well-being is my top priority.
Seborrheic alopecia is also known as androgenic alopecia. The symptoms of androgenic alopecia include thinning hair, gradual hair loss, increased scalp oil secretion, etc.
1. When
testosterone in patients with thinning hair is converted into dihydrotestosterone by type II 5α-reductase, dihydrotestosterone may cause hair follicle miniaturization, resulting in hair thinning at growth time.
2. Hair loss
Dihydrotestosterone may also cause hair growth cycle to shorten, originally thick black hair may gradually become thin hair, causing hair follicle atrophy, resulting in hair loss gradually.
3. Increased scalp oil secretion
Androgen has an amplifying effect on scalp, causing abnormal metabolism of hair follicle sebaceous glands, which may lead to sebum overflow and increased scalp oil secretion.
