Pancreatic cancer survival

Pancreatic cancer is commonly known as the king of cancer. Generally speaking, it is already in the advanced stage when it is discovered. Because the pancreas is located in the retroperitoneum, the symptoms are not very typical when the disease occurs. It is already relatively late. There are surrounding metastases and invasions. Therefore, the survival period of pancreatic cancer is generally relatively short. According to statistical data, the five-year survival period of pancreatic cancer may not exceed 10%. The three-year survival may not exceed 30%, and after pancreatic cancer surgery, the one-year survival may be about 50%. Therefore, overall, the survival period is relatively short.
