Why do breasts have lumps?

Breast has hard masses, may be caused by a variety of reasons, such as breast hyperplasia, breast fibroadenoma, breast cancer, etc.

1. Breast hyperplasia

is a common benign breast disease, may lead to breast hard masses, accompanied by breast pain, especially in the premenstrual period. Breast hyperplasia is usually related to endocrine disorders, such as imbalance of estrogen and progesterone levels.

2. Breast fibroadenoma

is mostly round or oval hard masses, smooth surface, good activity. It is a benign tumor formed by breast fibrous tissue and glandular epithelial hyperplasia, generally slow growth.

3. Breast cancer

hard masses are usually hard, unclear boundary, poor activity, may be accompanied by nipple discharge, skin changes and other symptoms. Breast cancer is a serious disease, need timely diagnosis and treatment.
