Empowering lives through health.
Perioral dermatitis is usually caused by factors such as long-term external use of glucocorticoid drugs, long-term use of fluoride toothpaste, infection of Demodex mites, etc.
1. The cause of perioral dermatitis caused by long-term external use of glucocorticoid drugs
is not clear clinically, but it is more considered to be related to long-term external use of glucocorticoid drugs, because such drugs are easy to cause skin atrophy and thinning, flushing, and then causing perioral dermatitis.
2. Long-term use of fluoride toothpaste for
brushing for a long time, toothpaste often contacts, stimulates oral skin and easily produces inflammation, causing perioral dermatitis.
3. Infected Demodex mites
often contact pets. Perioral dermatitis occurs, mostly caused by Demodex infection.
