How long does the stool culture test take?

Stool culture and other specimen culture, the time required to follow the law of microbial growth and reproduction, the purpose of culture is to detect whether there are certain bacterial infection, whether there is no fungal infection, whether there is viral infection, whether there is no mycoplasma infection, etc. Most common is the culture of some bacteria and fungi, because these bacteria reproduce some fast and some slow, so we generally need at least 72 hours to culture some bacteria. Therefore, we generally tell patients that it may take more than three days, and even some need more than seven days for a culture cycle. These microorganisms may reproduce slowly, and some microorganisms may reproduce quickly, but we cannot see which ones reproduce in a short time. We should screen as many pathogenic microorganisms as possible, so as not to cause missed diagnosis.
