What does anterior placenta mean

Anterior placenta refers to the placenta attached to the anterior wall of the uterus. After normal placenta contacts the uterus, it will adhere to its anterior wall, posterior wall and lateral wall. It belongs to normal physiological phenomenon. Its main function is to absorb nutrients from the mother and promote the growth and development of the fetus. There is no need to worry too much. Regular prenatal examination can be carried out to observe the fetus.
