Recurrence rate of endometrial carcinoma after total resection

Endometrial cancer

is a malignant tumor originating from endometrial epithelial cells. It can be divided into early, middle and late stages according to the disease development. If patients undergo total resection in time at the early stage of the disease, the recurrence rate is usually about 5%-10%. However, if the disease progresses to the middle and late stages, the recurrence rate is relatively high, which may reach about 50%.

Patients should actively cooperate with radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy and other comprehensive treatment after surgery. Long-term standardized treatment can improve the prognosis of the disease.
