Osteoporosis is related to the reduction of bone formation and the increase of bone resorption. It belongs to metabolic bone disease. Treatment requires calcium supplement and vitamin d to promote bone formation, but calcium supplement alone cannot cure it. It also needs to use anti-osteoporosis drugs and drugs that inhibit the destruction of bone cells.
