How is pulmonary thrombosis caused?

Pulmonary thrombosis is a common type of pulmonary embolism. The main cause of pulmonary embolism is thrombus shedding blocking pulmonary artery, which may be caused by blood stasis, hypercoagulability and venous wall injury. Pulmonary thrombosis can be cured as long as it is treated in time, mainly by absolute bed rest, oxygen and potassium supplementation, combined with anti-shock, antispasmodic, and corresponding anticoagulant treatment.
