Congenital vitiligo is a primary, localized or generalized skin depigmentation disease.
The cause of congenital vitiligo in children is not clear. Generally, it is related to family inheritance. If both parents or one of them has vitiligo, the risk of developing the disease in children is higher than that of other people. The disease can lead to asymptomatic, clear-cut depigmentation spots on children's skin and mucous membranes. The color is porcelain white, and it is easy to occur in friction and sun exposure areas.
Most children can be controlled after standardized treatment. Parents need not worry too much.
