Symptoms of anemia in pregnant women

Healing hearts, one patient at a time.
The symptoms of anemia in pregnant women include pale complexion, dizziness, weakness, palpitation, shortness of breath, loss of appetite, etc.
1. Pale complexion
is mainly due to anemia leading to a decrease in hemoglobin content in the blood, so that the blood supply to the skin, mucous membranes and other parts is reduced, thus presenting a pale color. This is a more common external manifestation.
2. Dizziness and weakness
are caused by anemia affecting the ability of the blood to carry oxygen, leading to insufficient oxygen supply to important organs such as the brain, causing dizziness, fatigue and weakness.
3. Palpitation and
shortness of breath are caused by anemia that makes the heart need to work harder to provide enough oxygen for the body, resulting in rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath and other discomfort.
4. Loss of appetite
may be related to gastrointestinal dysfunction caused by anemia. Physical discomfort will affect the normal operation of the digestive system, resulting in decreased appetite in pregnant women.
