What is the normal value of progesterone and gestational age?

Progestin levels in women vary considerably during pregnancy, typically between 5 and 10ng/ml in the first five to six weeks of pregnancy, but do not exceed 20ng/ml. Progestin levels range from 20 to 40ng/ml after eight weeks of pregnancy. Progestin levels are higher in the second and third trimester, and may reach hundreds. However, because of individual differences, there is no true standard for progesterone levels during pregnancy.
