Blood glucose range

Under normal circumstances, fasting blood glucose in healthy people ranges from 3.9 to 6.1mmol/L, and blood glucose at two hours after meals ranges from 3.9 to 7.8mmol/L. If fasting blood glucose ≥7.0mmol/L, or blood glucose at two hours after meals ≥11.1mmol/L, diabetes diagnosis should be considered. There is also a special population is gestational diabetes mellitus, fasting blood glucose ≥5.1mmol/L, blood glucose ≥10.0mmol/L one hour after meal, blood glucose ≥8.5mmol/L two hours after meal is consistent with gestational diabetes diagnosis.
