Thyroid cyst is not important

Dedicated to your healing journey.
Thyroid cyst is a fluid-containing cyst in the thyroid gland. It is one of the most common benign lesions of the thyroid gland. The etiology is still unclear at this stage. It may be related to iodine metabolism, sex hormones, regional, dietary habits and family, etc. Most scholars believe that it may be related to iodine deficiency. This disease occurs more frequently in women aged 20 to 40. It can be single or multiple. The mass is mostly round or round-like. It varies in size. Generally, there is no discomfort in the clinic. Occasionally, bleeding in the cyst can occur. The mass grows rapidly in a short period of time. Local pain and compression symptoms may be shown. Thyroid cysts generally do not deteriorate, so there is no need to worry too much.
