Thyroid nodule surgery treatment is good

Thyroid nodule surgery is not necessarily the best option. Any procedure carries risks. Thyroid nodule surgery also carries risks. Short-term risks include incision site infection and bleeding. Long-term hypothyroidism may occur. Some surgeries may cause damage to the recurrent laryngeal nerve and parathyroid glands, hypocalcemia, and hoarseness. Therefore, we should comprehensively evaluate the benign and malignant degree of thyroid nodules after finding thyroid nodules, and judge whether there are indications for surgery. If thyroid cancer is considered or suspected by ultrasound and thyroid puncture, surgery should be considered. If thyroid nodules are benign, the diameter is relatively small, and thyroid function is not affected. Dynamic follow-up observation can be performed.
