Myopia surgery can treat myopia, but it can not cure myopia.

Myopia can be divided into pseudomyopia and true myopia. Pseudomyopia is caused by excessive use of the eye in most cases. It can be recovered by rest and adjustment of eye habits without surgery. Patients with true myopia are often accompanied by organic lesions such as ocular axis lengthening and lens curvature. once these lesions occur, they cannot be recovered. Patients can only correct myopia by refractive cutting of the stroma layer under the corneal flap through surgery, but they cannot cure myopia fundamentally.
