What is the white substance on the teeth?

Restoring balance, restoring life.
There are several possible white substances on teeth, such as enamel, soft dirt, early caries, etc.
1. Enamel
is the hard tissue of the outer layer of teeth, translucent white, it is the hardest substance in the human body, plays an important role in protecting teeth.
2. Soft dirt
is the accumulation of food debris, bacteria, etc. on the tooth surface. If it is not cleaned in time, it will gradually mineralize into dental calculus. Soft dirt is usually soft in texture and can be removed by brushing. This is because after eating, various food debris will remain in the mouth. If the mouth is not cleaned effectively in time, these substances will deposit on the tooth surface.
3. Early caries
When a tooth begins to decay, there may be demineralization on the tooth surface in the early stages of caries, presenting white plaques or areas. In this case, the texture of the tooth has changed and timely intervention and treatment are needed to prevent further development of caries. If allowed to develop, caries will gradually deepen, destroying more tooth tissue and causing discomfort such as toothache.
