What is the difference between the posterior wall and the anterior wall of the uterus?

There is no difference between the posterior and anterior walls of the uterus, but only because of their position. During pregnancy, the placenta attaches to the uterine wall. As long as the placenta does not grow lower than normal, it is normal for it to attach to the anterior or posterior wall.
