Empathy in care, excellence in medicine.
Gastric function tests include pepsinogen I, pepsinogen II, pepsinogen I and II ratio, Helicobacter pylori antibody, can not directly diagnose the disease, but can assist in the diagnosis of some diseases.
1. Pepsinogen I
Pepsinogen I can reflect the mucosal state of stomach fundus and stomach body. If pepsinogen I is elevated, it is considered to be caused by gastritis, gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer and other diseases.
2. Pepsinogen II
Pepsinogen II can reflect the mucosal state of gastric antrum. If the index is reduced, it is generally related to atrophic gastritis.
3. The ratio of pepsinogen I to II
is increased, which is considered to be related to chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer and other diseases. If the ratio decreases, it is considered to be caused by atrophic gastritis, gastric cancer, etc.
4. Helicobacter pylori antibody If the
antibody to Helicobacter pylori is positive, it indicates that infection with Helicobacter pylori can increase the risk of gastritis, gastric ulcer, gastric cancer and other diseases.
