1. True gallbladder

swelling may be related to congenital factors, but also may be related to acquired factors. Congenital true gallbladder swelling is usually caused by abnormal development of bile duct and gallbladder during embryonic development; acquired true gallbladder swelling is usually caused by inflammation, stones, tumors or other diseases, such as chronic cholecystitis, gallstones, etc.

2. Pseudogallbladder

swelling is a local encapsulated effusion formed due to inflammation, trauma or surgery around the gallbladder. It is not a real cyst. Generally, it is related to factors such as cholecystitis, gallbladder surgery, liver injury, etc.
