Stomach teratoma
is a rare tumor, mostly benign, less malignant. The etiology of stomach teratoma has not been determined. It is derived from ovarian germ cells. During embryonic development, cell differentiation and positioning errors occur, resulting in congenital tissue remaining in the stomach, outer, middle and inner three layers of protoderm evolution. Symptoms and signs of patients are not obvious, may produce abdominal masses, hematemesis, abdominal distension and other symptoms. When diagnosed as gastric teratoma, treatment should be carried out in time, and the tumor should be removed as completely as possible through surgery to prevent recurrence caused by residual tumor cells.
