Different routes of transmission of hepatitis

Hepatitis A and hepatitis E can be transmitted by faecal-oral route. Eating food and water contaminated by virus can lead to hepatitis A or hepatitis E. Hepatitis B, hepatitis C and hepatitis D can be transmitted by blood and body fluids. The probability of blood transmission is the largest, the probability of semen transmission is relatively small, and the probability of saliva transmission is the smallest.
